Company: Lover App

Vertical: Sexual Wellness

Objective: App Installs, App Conversions

Result: $5.77 CPI, 1.9x ROAS

Lover initially struggled with advertising after being banned from Meta due to their policy restrictions. I was able to use my network and relentless tenacity to push through these bans and get the app back running on Meta which was extremely fruitful for their target audience, millennial males. The ultimate KPI was to get free trial users to convert to paying subscribers, which after thorough product analysis I recommended we move to 3 days. This combined with optimizing Meta campaigns drove the conversion rate up to 75%, revenue up 165% and CPA down 68%.

Client: Alex and Ani

Vertical: Jewelry

Objective: Conversion

Result: 3.6X ROAS, 2.4M Revenue, $7.58 average cost per purchase, 203K+ sales on FB

Through consistent testing of creative, audience and bidding strategies, Socialfly was able to restructure Alex and Ani’s Facebook account and drive profitable traffic to their website, becoming their top revenue channel. With a steep ROAS goal of 3X, I monitored each campaign on a granular level in GA daily, adjusting cost caps and budgets as needed and requesting new creative from their team weekly. However, my most successful revenue driving campaigns came from Dynamic Product Ads, highlighting the entire catalog and specific categories including Harry Potter, Hello Kitty and Barbie.

What boosted average ROAS for the month the most were the 1-2 day promotions Alex and Ani ran. With intraday reporting from Shopify, I was able to confirm and rectify Facebook’s reporting and scale budget aggressively. My top performing two day promotion drove $148K in rev over two days, a 15X ROAS.

Client: Cincoro

Vertical: Spirits

Objective: Conversion / Brand Awareness

Results: 2.5 ROAS , 47k Revenue

A just launched tequila company wanted to generate buzz around their luxurious line of handcrafted liquor. They hired Socialfly to generate brand awareness and sales via their e-commerce website. I ran cross-channel Brand Awareness campaigns on Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat targeting users identified as tequila enthusiasts, customers of competitor brands and also Michael Jordan fans (as he is one of the co-owners of the brand). After Cincoro’s e-commerce site launched, I ran campaigns optimized towards conversions. Leveraging dynamic creatives within Facebook to test thousands of ad variations, I was able to quickly isolate and scale the combinations that drove sales most efficiently, finding women aged 45-50 on Facebook drove the majority of sales at the most efficient cost.

Client: SlimFast

Vertical: Diet/Keto

Objective: App Installs

Results: $1.49 CPI, 40,724 Installs

With a short campaign flight of two months, SlimFast wanted to drive quality installs for their Keto-App, while keeping their cost per app install below $2.00. Through implementing proper tracking platforms such as AppsFlyer and developing creatives that met performance goals before the campaign launch- I was able to get measurement and creative set up for success.

However, keeping pacing up during the short flight was a fight with the cost cap in place. Through consistent analysis of efficient install audiences, and a fluid approach to segmenting the dynamic media management strategy that served 15 interest-based audience segments, breaking out ad sets by impressions devices, publisher platforms, age groups, and geographies, I was able to bring in over 40k installs and deliver 25% below their goal KPI.

Client: Whisps Snacks

Vertical: CPG

Objective: Brand Awareness/ Conversion

Whisps Cheese Crisps are known in the Keto-diet community but sought out greater brand awareness as a wholesome, healthy snack for everyone. Though the snacks were only sold online through Amazon, I created a DCO campaign optimized towards link clicks to the company’s website in an effort to grow brand recognition and built several 1-5% Look-a-Like audiences to utilize for future retargeting campaigns.

Furthering their presence, I ran a 5 second interstitial ad on YouTube to a Keto diet interest audience, where we saw a 3.2% CTR with just $15,000 in budget the first month.

Client: American University of Antigua

Vertical: Education

Objective: Lead Generation

Results: Average US CPL: $29.50, Average UK CPL: $8.57

As an American medical school in Antigua, AUA relies on paid social to generate student leads. Through a lead generation campaign with a native form on-Facebook, I’ve been able to capitalize on staying in-platform and driving qualified leads. A noticeable improvement, the remote Fall 2020 incoming class was 18% larger than the previous year’s class.

Recently, a campaign optimized for Application Submissions I pitched has driven even more success and proven Socialfly’s value. The cost of attending AUA for four years is over $200k, and since the launch of this campaign with a small budget allocation has driven 15 application submits, for an average cost of $318.18.

Client: Natural Formula

Vertical: Beauty/Hair Care

Objective: Link Clicks

Results: 3x ROAS, $100k sales/month

Natural Formula is Israels #1 hair care company, bringing their products for the first time to the US in February of 2020. They sought Socialfly’s help in generating brand awareness and driving traffic to their Amazon store. Through traffic campaigns, we saw an exponential lift to their sales on Amazon and maintained 3x ROAS MoM.

Though Amazon has no real time reporting, through calculating the average order value of those that buy from Natural Formula’s Amazon store, I was able to decipher how much traffic I needed to drive to their store in order to meet their revenue goal for the month, and at what ROAS target- utilizing the CPC metric.
